Post 1 Objective

Objective of the blog is to post drawings and digital paintings everyday as a comitment device to draw everyday. Additionally it could be used as supporting documentation for show reels etc. etc.

Other objective is as a record of things to do(current method using paper notes too messy and I lose notes) especially in regards to drawings and digital paintings; What or who do I need to research, links to tutorials and who do I need to talk to?

1: Talk to Jo in regards to freelance concept art work. Also Possibly Rowan for Dota/Grinding gears modelling.

2: Make list of Concept art produced for Huhu studios that I want to display on website when material is finally released (probably october).

3: Follow other blogs for inspiration. Edit 2: Delayed for now, lower priority get Bretts work done first.

4: Talk to Shyo in regards for modelling test so that I may be considered for modelling role in future if no other jobs are available

5. Research other concept art/freelance jobs online, look at the big idea and e-lance first then find other websites. Edit: (Once a week dealio, same drill as before with looking for work)

6. Think about getting up early to spend more time on tasks such as these(What time have you decided on?)

7. Organise paperwork for WINZ, contact WINZ

8. Specificly research/find artists that do Mech's and landscapes(possibly look at mountains first) as these are area's that I am weak in; Breif: Create a Humanoid mech and a more abstract looking mech, possibly a combat mech(think the villian suits in ironman that look more clunky or the suits in district 9).

9. Possible breifs after the mech one: Mountain landscapes, Skin, scary aliens(think Geiger), Pokemon/StevenUniverse kinds of cartoons, spaceship interiors.

10. Decide on what time/what to do about coding. Talk to Lewis about programs that let you create programs. Edit: Discovered online compilers and editors that could be used  to test.

11. Think about what needs to be done for future show reels(refer to paper on the wall).

12. Practice presentation of concept art as well as drafting abilities(esp. why I put the cartoon breif above to practice lineart). Edit: Possibly submit to Deviantart for feedback

13. Look up T's and C's for the "Rookies" Competition.

14. Keep an eye on story, continue watching films. Edit: Book some time in to look at how I want to proceed with story, what stories do I want to write(write one for TV show as well as looking at Copycat).

15. Complete Brett's project

16. Possibly start a 30 min a day painting(like sit and spit.)
